How to Make the Best Ginger Ale Hard Drinks (with Ingredients)
1. ‘Kiss of Cleopatra’ Tequila-Ginger Ale Dessert Drinks
This drink can be a healthy after-dinner appetizer and can be a good relief for upset stomach, nausea, acid reflux, hangover-headache, etc.
Use a muddler to roughly crush 1-2 fresh sage and mint sprigs with 1 tsp lime juice. To this, add ½ oz of each of tequila, mango nectar, and pineapple juice. Now add a pinch of cayenne and ground ginger, each, to this mix. Add ice cubes and fill the rest with Kirks dry ginger ale. Garnish with pineapple chunk, a small scoop of sour cream and a tbsp of vanilla ice cream. Tastes yummy!
2. Sour Black Homemade Bar-Drink with Rum & Gin
Get an old-fashioned beer mug and fill it with 1½ oz of gin, ½ oz lemon juice, and Captain Morgan spiced black rum, each, and the rest with Seagram’s or Schweppes ginger ale. Serve with lemon and ice cubes.
3. Ginger Ale-based Cocktail with Vodka & Amaretto
Make a cup of fresh orange juice (using your juicer or mixer) and refrigerate for 15 minutes. In the meantime, fill a cocktail glass with ice cubes and add 1 oz Disaronno Originale (or pure amaretto), 2 oz vodka and 3 oz Bruce Cost or Drambuie ginger ale. Add the chilled orange juice. Stir with a spoon and serve with a dash of grenadine and rind of an orange.

4. Beer Mixed Chiller Drink with Ginger Ale
Just mix equal portions of champagne (or white wine), ginger beer and Not Your Father’s ginger ale. Float ice cubes and drink.
[Ginger beer is a good alcohol to mix with ginger ale. But if you want it even more towards the non-alcoholic side, replace champagne or beer with any soft drink or energy drink Red Bull, Pepsi or Diet Coke.]
5. Carbonated Bitter Party Alcoholic Drink Using Ginger Ale
Fill a glass with a few dashes of bitters, 1½ oz Hennessy Cognac, and the rest with a combination of chilled soda and ginger ale (quantity, to taste). Enjoy with lime wedges and ice cubes.
6. ‘Purple Pleasure’ Girly Fruit-Punch Christmas Cocktails
Arrange glasses and pour 1½ oz of each of vodka, blue curacao and cranberry juice (or, grapefruit or raspberry juice) in each one. Mix thoroughly. Hand crush a few basil leaves and throw them into the glass. Fill the remaining portion with chilled Blenheim ginger ale. Garnish with a slice of cucumber or cherry and serve them your friends.

Take a highball glass and fill it quarter way with ice. To this add 1½ oz peppermint schnapps and 2 oz whiskey. Fill the rest with ginger ale (like Vernors – the oldest surviving US brand). Serve chilled.
[For this recipe, we recommend Bourbon or Scotch whiskies. However, you can use any liqueur whiskey brand including Fireball, Jameson, or Jack Daniels.]
8. Easy Sweet-n-Sour Ginger Ale ‘Sake’ Cocktail
In a tall glass, put a few ice cubes. Pour 3½ oz Japanese sake and 2½ oz ginger ale. Add a few drops of plain sugar syrup and fresh lemon juice, and stir mix. Serve chilled with thin cross sections cucumber.
9. Fruity Ginger Afternoon Drink with Cranberry & Ginger Ale
Pour an ounce of each of peach schnapps, triple sec, cranberry juice, and Canada Dry green tea-induced ginger ale over ice in a cocktail glass. Add a dash of fresh ginger juice. Float some ice and garnish with fresh cranberries.
10. Simple 2-Ingredient Ginger Ale Instant Shot Drinks
In a punch bowl, mix 1 bottle of brandy and Red Rock ginger ale, each, along with ice. Serve in shot glasses and shoot in.
Like we discussed earlier, you can also experiment with a variety of cocktails and mixes with ginger ale, and even other common cocktail (hard drink) recipes like mojito, sangria, etc., and you will feel the difference and the health benefits of this beverage only after drinking it yourself, and sharing with your friends and folks! Go ahead and rejoice!
