What is Frangelico
Frangelico is a hazelnut and herb-flavored liqueur from Italy that is popular for its fine taste, and moreover, for its distinctively styled bottle resembling a friar, with a rope tied around its waist. With 20% alcohol by volume (ABV), it is relatively less strong than many of its alcoholic counterparts.

1. Classic Birthday Chocolate Cake Shot with Frangelico
Shake together ½ oz of each of Frangelico and any chocolate liqueur, along with ¾ oz of vanilla vodka and a few ice cubes. Serve in shot glasses with a hint of lime juice.
2. Frangelico-based Easy Hot Coffee Bar Drink
In a coffee mug, add one by one 4 oz of hot espresso coffee, 1 oz of each of Kahlua and Bailey’s Irish Cream, and 1½ oz of Frangelico. Mix lightly with a spoon. Add 1 tbsp of cream, or to taste. Serve hot or warm, as desired.
Alternately, for a simpler recipe like ‘Frangelico Affogato’, mix the hot coffee with Frangelico (you don’t need Kahlua and Irish cream). Put 2 scoops of ice cream in a glass and pour the hot mixture over it. Serve immediately.
